Ana takes the call and sets the visit. Frank or his foreman Luis walks the roof, with your okay, and the written estimate goes out within three business days. Nobody sets a ladder on your house until you say so.

    Ana answers weekdays from seven. Three questions, then a date for the visit, usually inside the week.

    With your permission, Frank or Luis goes up, photographs every slope and measures it. You see the photos before he leaves.

    Itemized, by email, within three business days. One total, good for thirty days.

    The build and the sweep

    Tear-off, ice and water shield, underlayment, shingles, ridge vent. Then the magnet sweep, the photos and the warranty paperwork the same night.

A father, a daughter, and one crew that has not changed much.

Frank started in 1994 with one truck and a ladder rack, working the bungalow blocks between Cicero and Central. His daughter Ana joined in 2016 and now runs the office, the schedule and the estimates. The crew is nine roofers, most of them with us ten years or more, all on payroll.

We put GAF Timberline HDZ on most houses, Owens Corning Duration when the color calls for it, and modified bitumen or TPO on the flats. We do not sell a new roof when a repair will hold, and the number on the paper is the number you pay.

Questions people ask us.

Do you need to get on my roof to give me a price?
Yes, and only with your permission. Frank or Luis asks before setting the ladder, photographs every slope, and shows you the photos before leaving. If you would rather nobody went up, we measure from the ground and the photos, and the estimate says so.
How long does a bungalow re-roof take?
One layer, one day with the full crew. Two layers of old shingles, a steep pitch or a lot of dormers can push it to two. We tell you which before we start, and the roof is never left open overnight.
Do you work on flat roofs?
Yes. Flat garage roofs, two-flat and three-flat roofs, and the storefronts and small commercial buildings along Milwaukee and Elston. Modified bitumen on most, TPO where the owner wants a white roof.
How far do you go?
The twelve neighborhoods and suburbs in the footer, plus a block or two past them. From the shop on Irving Park Road we can usually look at a roof in Portage Park or Jefferson Park within two days, and out to Park Ridge or Niles inside the week.
What does the license number on this page mean?
Illinois requires anyone roofing for pay to hold a state roofing contractor license. The Unlimited class covers residential, commercial and industrial roofs.
